Base network • ERC-20 • Non-custodial

HRM is the on-chain payment lane inside Hermes.

HRM gives Hermes a real, non-custodial ERC-20 lane on Base Mainnet with a verified deployment and live market liquidity, so wallet creation, balance refresh, receiving and sending stay separate from chats and calls while remaining ready for future EVM assets.

What HRM is

HRM is a dedicated payment lane inside Hermes with a real token, a real wallet and real on-chain transfers on the network configured for this environment.

What HRM is not

It is not a custodial wallet, not a bridge and not a promise of price support by itself. HRM keeps a narrow scope so Hermes can move value without turning the app into a generic exchange surface.

What you can do in Hermes

Create or restore a wallet, view the address and balances, refresh on-chain activity, receive with QR and send HRM to another compatible Base wallet.

Current scope

  • ERC-20 token called HeRmesCoin with symbol HRM.
  • Verified Base Mainnet deployment with a live HRM/USDC market.
  • Wallet creation, restore and activation with recovery phrase.
  • Backend help for balance, history, price estimation, activation challenge and signed transaction broadcast.
  • Wallet UX prepared for future EVM assets without changing the core custody model.

Important limits

Hermes does not custody the wallet, and the recovery phrase is the only way to recover access if the device is lost. Always verify the active network, explorer and funding path before moving value.

Sending HRM requires ETH for gas on the active Base network. The funding guide explains how to prepare gas, token balance and explorer verification without guessing from stale copy.
