Private communication product

Hermes keeps messaging private, modern and refined.

Hermes brings together private chats, groups, channels, stories, linked devices, voice and video calls, protected media, premium settings, Hermes Sense and manual HRM/payment routes inside one coherent product. The core Hermes app is available today on iPhone and Android, with Hermes Web extending the same account across linked sessions.

Linked devices Hermes Web and trusted sessions stay tied to device-level control, QR linking and instant revoke.
Ghost Mode An optional conversation layer reduces sensitive message views, batches visible signals and can prefer nearby delivery when both sides are available.
Hermes Sense Local-first intelligence for writing, reading, summaries, voice and analysis inside a focused private messaging product.
Base mainnet HRM Wallet, HRM and payments surfaces read the existing Base mainnet backend; value movement requires explicit manual confirmation.

Built around the real conversation, not around feature theatre.

Hermes focuses on the parts people actually touch every day: readable chat, fast switching, trustworthy settings, secure device management and a premium interface that stays coherent from onboarding to support.

Conversations that feel current

Private chats, groups, channels, broadcast lists, starred messages and stories live in one design system instead of a cohesive product system.

Settings that do real work

Storage, notifications, themes, power saver, privacy, language, calls and linked devices are all first-class surfaces, not hidden debug leftovers.

Security tied to devices

Hermes keeps account, session, push, verification and linked-device behavior aligned so trust is operational, not just marketing copy.

Manual mainnet value

HRM and payment surfaces expose Base mainnet state with explorer handoff and confirmation screens; automated tests never broadcast or move value.

Ghost Mode adds precise privacy controls per conversation.

Ghost Mode is optional. It extends Hermes' normal protection with conversation controls: protected message views, clearer read signals, stricter ephemeral behavior and nearby-first transport hints when that path is realistically available.

Protected message views

When Ghost Mode is active, Hermes can reduce what appears in chat lists, local banners and app switcher snapshots.

Protected delivery controls

Read-state behavior can become clearer and more batched without changing how normal chats work.

Honest nearby assist

Hermes can prefer nearby foreground transport when compatible devices are present, with clean fallback to the normal server path when they are not.

Hermes Sense is local-first intelligence inside Hermes.

Hermes Sense helps with writing, summaries, reading, explanation, translation, tone guidance and file analysis. It stays product-bound and explicit about context, memory and connected assist.

Local-first by design

  • Local model and local memory stay the default path.
  • Imported context remains separate from the rest of your chats unless you bring it in.
  • Feedback, memory and preferences shape the assistant without pretending to “train” a model in secret.

Connected when you allow it

  • Hermes Sense can widen to connected assist for broader reasoning or fresher answers when you enable that route.
  • Runtime choices are explicit instead of hidden behind exaggerated claims.
  • Voice, file reading and analysis remain part of one premium chat surface, not a detached AI product.

Trust comes from bounded systems and honest language.

Hermes keeps calls, devices, media, notifications, Ghost Mode and Hermes Sense in clearly separated lanes. That makes the product easier to reason about and easier to improve without collateral damage.

What Hermes does not claim

  • It does not claim impossible anonymity or “untraceable” magic.
  • It does not market nearby transport as a permanent background mesh.
  • It does not present Hermes Sense as an omniscient system with invisible access to everything.
